How to Make a Lanyard

Hi folks:
This is my first try at a web page so please be patient:

CJ ’01 “Fishing Village Project”

This was one of the project sights at the Canadian Jamboree. A team from Nova Scotia, headed by John Cross, presented this project.

The project’s objective was to give participants an overview of typical day in the life of an East Coast fisher.

One of the projects was to tie this ‘Lanyard.’

Everyone was given an opportunity to have a practical experience in tying decorative knots and was able to leave the project with a souvenir.

The Lanyard

This site will provide the instructions for a rope project that I helped set up at the Canadian Jamboree 2002 (Scouts Canada). You may want to check it out. Maybe you can let me know it was of some help and/or if you have some suggestions to make it better. Please do not hesitate to contact me. What does it look like? The bead at the top can be easily slipped under your belt and will be hooked there until you needed it.

You many find it best to print all 4 pages before you begin this project. Page 3 will help when you have a group working on the project.
